We only collect what we need to quote for, plan and carry out your move, such as:
- Your name, phone number and email address.
- Pickup and delivery addresses or suburbs, and your moving date.
- Details about what you're moving and the access at each property, including any notes or photos you send us.
- Details from an inspection, if you ask for one.
- Payment and invoicing details needed to complete the job. This website doesn't take payments, and we don't collect card numbers through it.
How we collect it
- When you send a quote request through this website.
- When you call, text or email us.
- During an inspection or on moving day.
The FAQ assistant on our website works entirely in your browser. What you type into it isn't sent to us or stored.
If you use the moving house checklist, your progress is saved only in your own browser, on your device. You can clear it at any time with ‘Start again’ or in your browser settings.
How we use it
- To prepare your quote, and to arrange an inspection if you'd like one.
- To book, plan and carry out your move, and to keep you updated.
- To handle payments, records, questions and complaints.
- To meet our legal obligations.
We'll only send you marketing messages if you've agreed to receive them, and you can opt out at any time.
This website, cookies and other services
- This website doesn't use advertising or analytics cookies. If that changes, we'll update this policy first.
- Like most websites, our hosting provider keeps basic technical logs, such as IP addresses and browser types, to keep the site running securely.
- Fonts load from Google Fonts, and some photos from image delivery services. These services receive the basic technical details any web request includes, such as your IP address.
Overseas storage
Some of the providers we use, such as our website host, form provider and email services, may store or process information outside Australia. We take reasonable steps to make sure your information stays protected.
Keeping it safe
We take reasonable steps to protect your personal information from misuse, loss and unauthorised access. We keep it only as long as we need it for your move, our records and our legal obligations (such as tax records), and then delete or de-identify it.
Accessing and correcting your information
You can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, or ask us to correct it. Contact us using the details below and we'll respond within a reasonable time, usually within 30 days.
Privacy complaints
If you have a concern about how we've handled your personal information, please contact us first. We'll look into it and reply, usually within 30 days. If you're not satisfied with our response, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.
